Kinship & Community: Photowalk with Black Image Center

Join Art + Practice and Black Image Center for a community photowalk through Leimert Park, inspired by our current exhibitions Kinship & Community: Selections from the Texas African American Photography Archive 和 Rahim Fortune: Between a Memory and Me. Carry forward the spirit of the community photographers whose images of everyday life anchor these exhibitions. While exploring the neighborhood as both witness and collaborator, participants are encouraged to observe and create images that document the people and spaces that shape Leimert Park.
