CALIBRATING CONNECTION: KINSHIP & COMMUNITY

September 4, 2026
6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

In Collaboration With

California African American Museum

Art + Practice and Calibrate invite you to gather in conversation around Kinship & Community, Art + Practice’s current exhibition. Together, we’ll explore what it means to build relationships, care for one another, and create community.

Inspired by Calibrate’s Connections practice, this gathering is an opportunity to listen, reflect, and learn from one another. The conversation will be open-ended and participant-centered, using the exhibition as a starting point for thinking about the communities we inherit and the communities we build.

Join us for an evening of art, listening, storytelling, and connection. All are welcome.
